I haven’t slept since 9am Sunday morning, and it’s now 11:50pm on Monday night! Nearly 39 hours without going to bed! I’m well hard, me.

Glastonbury fun times, you see. I probably dozed a little on the train, but nothing real. Don’t feel too bad really. I was pretty sober through the night, so I don’t have a hangover to contend with.

Anyway, sleeeeeep tiiiiiime. Will write summink about Glastonbury tomorrow.

Bring on the sleep-hallucinations!

Earlier on I realised I couldn’t find my brand new camcorder anywhere (was thinking of taking it to Glastonbury Festival, you see) and after perusing the house for a while decided to take the search outside. Turns out I left it on an old bin liner in some dirt in the wasteland next to the house for TWO WHOLE NIGHTS. What a brilliant move. Thank goodness it didn’t rain! Jeez Louise.

Also, the other day I was going to a band practice, but missed the train because I left my keyboard in my sister’s car and had to wait while she brought it back to me. Later on, during the final leg of the journey, the display on the train that showed where we were was stuck so I missed where I was supposed to get off by three stops! When I realised what was going on I grabbed my bag and rushed off the train, only to realise (once the train was long gone) that I’d left my keyboard on it!

The next train back the other way was about an hour later, so I phoned up lost property and explained what I had lost, which train it was on, and where on the train I had left it, left all my details and all that hoo-ha, then went to get some lunch.

When the train arrived, I was about to go in one door but then decided to follow this Australian bloke through a different door because I thought he might be interesting. Once on the train I turned the corner, and do you know what I saw? My keyboard! Exactly where I’d left it - wedged in between the luggage rack and a seat. The train had gone to its final destination then turned around and come back, and I just happened to get on at the right door and turn the right way to see it! Also no-one had nicked it!

Lucky, eh? So I made it to the band practice in the end, albeit two hours late! I like to think that the Australian bloke was some kind of mystical guide. Maybe he was one of those Native American australians or whatever.

Anyway, I’ve decided I will not be taking my camcorder to Glastonbury. Clearly I can’t be trusted without the spiritual help of an eskimo or whatever.

I made the music for this video, excepting the first track which my buddy Chris made. That is: the music from 00:41 onwards is all me.

It was especially fun writing the orchestral stuff, I’d like to try more of that I reckin.
