Today I got hit by a car!
I’m totally fine, so don’t cry or hi-five. I was cycling along when a lady who hadn’t seen me pulled out of a side-road right into me! She wasn’t going very fast so I just fell off my bike, got back on it and gave her a thumbs up to show I was ok. I was gonna cycle away but she made me pull over with her so she could be all “OH MY GOD I AM SO SORRY! Are you all right?!”
She was really nice and seemed more shaken up than I was. She said she was a cyclist too so was really annoyed at herself! She made sure I wasn’t freaking out, then we both went our separate ways. It may sound weird but far from freaking out I actually kind of enjoyed the experience! Probably because I had my cycle helmet on and didn’t get my brain everywhere.
p.s. to make up for getting hit by a car, later on I punched a lorry in the nuts. HARD.
