Here is where I post stuff I find funny or interesting, or that I've created. I don't follow anyone on Tumblr because it ruined my already short attention span, so please don't be offended if you follow me and I don't reciprocate!
I’ve been checking out digital DJ programs so I can mix mp3s up with my vinyl disks, and came across Deckadance. Not had a go on the software yet, but I love this bit of blurb on their website:
Deckadance was written by DJs for DJs, so we are confident that it will take your DJing to the next level.
Of course, if you suck as a DJ, you will still suck using Deckadance, but you will suck better, faster, harder and more creatively than ever before!

For my birthday the other week we watched Crank after hours in the cinema. It is the most ridiculous and perfect action film you will ever lay your eyes upon. The premise is that a hitman who wants out of the game wakes up to discover he’s been injected with a poison that will kill him unless he keeps his heart rate up. That’s how the film BEGINS. From that point on, he does everything he can to keep SUPER PUMPED - including being mad violent, driving like you would in Carmaggedon, sexing up his missus in outrageous places, and taking loads of miscellaneous drugs. It’s spectacular.
Before the film my awesome friends screened a few films they’d made in my honour, one of which is posted below. This was one of the others.
I think my friend Thom was obsessed with Crank and wanted to make his own version of it, and the fact that it was my birthday became the reason to get everyone together to make it! They filmed it in a day, and edited it over a few evenings.
It’s pretty effing rad.
Crank 2 will come out soon, and so, I imagine, will KuPlunk 2…
Sheesh, I just had an eventful bus ride home. Started off just these drunken kids being arseholes and one not having any money for a ticket and holding the bus up. When we got into Cambourne (where the guys were getting off) someone started smoking - despite it being a NO-NO. The already pissed off bus driver stopped the bus, got out from her seat and was like “WHOEVER WAS SMOKING GET OFF NOW”
But no-one got off. There was a big stupid standoff, and she was like “Ok, then all of you at the back get off” and this dude was like “look, you can’t prove who was smoking, so let’s just carry on” and then this other dude was like “look, fuck it, let’s just get off alright?” and his mates were like “Nah man, come and sit down” but eventually a bunch of them got off.
BUT THEN as the bus was driving away, I looked out the window at them to see one of them picking something off the floor, then lobbing it towards the bus. It flew right towards the window I was next to, hit it, and shattered it all up!
We had to stop the bus and call the police and junk. Luckily I got home without having to wait around to give a statement or anything, despite being the only one next to the window. Got little bits of glass on me and all! Thank goodness for tiny-shattering glass. I could be lacerated and bleeding right now.
I bet the guy who threw it didn’t even think about it shattering a window or maybe hurting someone on the bus. But still WHAT A DICKHEAD.
Ha! I left a party early so I could get some sleep before work tomorrow (only got 3 hours sleep last night), but it’s all been delayed. I am still very tired and not all fired up so that’s ok.

I was talking to Poppy, my 5 year old niece earlier today and she was like:
“Wouldn’t it be funny if, you know there’s blue sky, and then above that there’s dark sky? Wouldn’t it be funny if when it’s night time, the dark sky comes down and the blue sky goes above, then when it’s day time, the dark sky goes above and the blue sky comes down? So when it’s night time for us, it’s blue sky for the aliens! Wouldn’t that be funny?”
Now, I don’t know if it would make me laugh if that happened, but I really love the idea of the whole of space turning bright blue when it’s night-time on earth!
