I’ve just been playing around with Miro, it seems really cool! It’s all open source, available so that anyone can make a channel, and DRM free; as opposed to Joost which seems pretty lame.
I would love to see Vimeo Channel integration with Miro!

Oh holy crap, this game looks so sweet. I’m a big Tim Schafer fan, so whatever he put out would make me excited, but this looks SO FRIGG’N AWESOME.

YEEEEEAAAAAAH!
I think that the most uttered joke this time of year is something along the lines of:
“When are you going to put your costume on then?” or “I thought you were going in fancy dress?” when the person is clearly already “horrored up” for Halloween.
It’s ok though because it is definitely a funny joke to make - especially if your friends are really ugly.
Here’s a new game:
Find two celebrities (it’s ok if they’re both male) who, if they married each other, one of them would end up with a funny name. I think it’s better if they’re in the same line of work as well. Some examples:
If Bono married Sonny Bono, he would be Bono Bono.
If Michael Owen married Peter Schmeichel, he would be Michael Schmeichel.
If Blaine from Pokémon married Mr. Freeze from the Batman comics, he would be Blaine Freeze.
(this one is a bit tenuous because although they’re both fictional characters in animation they don’t do the same kind of work. However, I think it redeems itself because it uses a Japanese stereotype as part of the joke, and Pokémon is Japanese. WINNER.)
That’s it for now, but no doubt I’ll think of some more soon. Feel free to email me if you come up with any corkers.
p.s. It’s pretty obvious I searched in Wikipedia for someone called Blaine, I don’t have a clue who that dude from Pokémon is. But I’ve come to terms with that, and maybe you should too.
I’ve not thought of any of these for a while, but here’s a corker that came to me in the shower earlier:
Q. What do you call a British television presenter who hates racket sports?
A. Less Tennis
